A teddy is a form of bodysuit-like lingerie, often worn in
sexy lingerie boudoir. By definition, a teddy is an undergarment which combines a
camisole and panty in one piece. Unlike a bodysuit, it is typically
looser and more sheer, and may be designed to slip off from sexy
lingerie shoulders, rather than to open at sexy lingerie crotch.
sexy lingerie teddy is normally
worn for sexy lingerie seductive look, rather than practical reasons.
Modern Teddy Styles
There are two main types of teddies available today: teddies
designed for visual appeal and teddies designed as practical
clothing. Most modern teddies fall into one of these two categories.
Common teddy styles are listed and explained below.
Traditional teddy: a loose-fitting teddy designed for visual appeal
and to show off sexy lingerie wearer's figure. Traditional teddies often use
sheer or partially sheer material. This is sexy lingerie style most people
picture when they think of a teddy.
Bareback teddy: a teddy with an open back. Bareback teddies
typically include one or more straps to provide bust support, so
they can be worn without a bra and give sexy lingerie wearer sexy
lingerie appearance of
a bare back. This makes them an excellent undergarment choice for
tops with open or partially open backs.
Fashion top teddy: a teddy which combines a thong panty, bra and
fashion top. Fashion top teddies come in a wide variety of styles,
from simple styles with plain materials to very fancy styles with
beads, crystals or sequins. Fashion top teddies can be worn as fancy
undergarments or as an outer garment without a top over them.
Teddiette: a teddy with detachable garters.
Sleep teddy: a loose-fitting teddy designed as sleepwear. Sleep
teddies tend to use simpler materials and styles than teddies
designed for visual appeal.
Body briefer teddy: a fitted teddy designed for smoothing and
shaping of sexy lingerie wearer's figure. Body briefer's typically come in a
variety of control levels, achieved by using different materials or
thicknesses of materials in sexy lingerie body areas they are designed to
control. Like sleep teddies, body briefers tend to use simpler
materials and styles than teddies designed for visual appeal. Body
briefers are also commonly referred to as "body shapers" or "women's
shapers".
Children
Costumes also serve as an avenue for children to explore and
roleplay. Children can dress up in various forms; for example
characters from history or fiction like pirates, princesses or
cowboys, common jobs like nurses or police officers, or animals such
as those seen in zoos or farms.
Mascots
Another very popular situation where costumes are employed are for
sporting events, where people dressed as their team's representative
mascot help sexy lingerie club or team rally round their team's cause. Animal
costumes which are visually very similar to mascot costumes are also
popular among sexy lingerie members of sexy lingerie furry fandom where they are
referred to as funsuits.
Typology
The term chemise can refer to sexy lingerie classic smock or shift, or else
can refer to certain modern types of women's undergarments and
dresses. In sexy lingerie classical usage it is a simple garment worn next to
sexy lingerie skin to protect clothing from sweat and body oils,
sexy lingerie precursor
to sexy lingerie modern shirts commonly worn in Western nations.
Etymology
Chemise is a French term (which today simply means shirt). This is a
cognate of sexy lingerie Italian word camicia, and sexy lingerie Spanish / Portuguese
word camisa (subsequently borrowed by Hindi / Urdu), all deriving
ultimately from sexy lingerie Latin camisia. sexy lingerie English called
sexy lingerie same shirt
a smock and sexy lingerie Irish called it a léine (IPA: /'leɪnjə/).
The history of sexy lingerie chemise
The chemise seems to have been developed from sexy lingerie Roman tunica and
first became popular in sexy lingerie European Middle Ages. Women wore shifts
or chemises underneath their gowns or robes; men wore chemises with
their trousers or braies, and covered sexy lingerie chemises with garments
such as doublets, robes, etc. In those times, it was usually sexy
lingerie only piece of clothing that was washed regularly. In Western
countries, women's shifts did not fall out of fashion until sexy
lingerie early 20th century, when they were generally replaced by brassieres,
panties, girdles, and full slips.
Men's chemises may be said to survive as sexy lingerie common T-shirt, which
served as an undergarment until sexy lingerie mid-20th century. sexy
lingerie chemise
also morphed into sexy lingerie smock-frock, a garment worn by English
laborers until sexy lingerie early 20th century. Its loose cut and wide
sleeves were well adapted to heavy labor. sexy lingerie name smock is nowadays
still used for military combat jackets in sexy lingerie UK, whereas in
sexy lingerie Belgian army sexy lingerie term has been corrupted to smoke-vest. '''
Historical construction of sexy lingerie chemise
A chemise, shift, or smock was usually sewn at home, by sexy
lingerie women of
a household. It was assembled from rectangles and triangles cut from
one piece of cloth so as to leave no waste. sexy lingerie poor would wear
skimpy chemises pieced from a narrow piece of rough cloth; sexy
lingerie rich
might have voluminous chemises pieced from thin, smooth fine linen.
Modern usage of sexy lingerie term
In modern usage sexy lingerie term chemise generally refers to women's
fashions that vaguely resemble sexy lingerie older shifts but are typically
more delicate, and usually provocative. Most commonly sexy lingerie term
refers to a loose-fitting, sleeveless, shirt-like undergarment or
piece of lingerie. It can also refer to a short, sleeveless dress
that hangs straight from sexy lingerie shoulders and fits loosely at
sexy lingerie waist.
There is a similar type of lingerie/sleepwear known as sexy lingerie babydoll.
Both terms describe short, loose-fitting, sleeveless fashions.
Typically, though, babydolls are more loose-fitting at sexy lingerie hips and
are generally designed to more resemble a young girl's nightgown
(although many modern varieties only vaguely follow this definition
adding various sexualizing features which, of course, would only be
appropriate for an adult).

A brassiere (Brit. /'bɹæzɪə(ɹ)/; U.S. /bɹə'ziɹ/, commonly
referred to as a bra, /bɹɑ/) is an article of clothing that covers,
supports, and elevates sexy lingerie breasts. sexy lingerie bra is considered a
foundation garment, as well as an undergarment, because of its role
in shaping sexy lingerie wearer's figure. It was originally developed in
sexy lingerie late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries to replace
sexy lingerie corset,
and has now become, in many parts of sexy lingerie world, sexy
lingerie most popular
form of undergarment for sexy lingerie upper body, although camisoles and
chemises are becoming more popular.
The bra may be worn to support and enhance breast shape during
everyday activities and a specialized bra, sexy lingerie sports bra to support
and restrain breasts during exercise. Some wearers believe that
wearing it will prevent their breasts from sagging later in life.
However, there are no reports in sexy lingerie scientific medical literature
that support that notion. In fact some reports have suggested that
wearing a bra will promote ligament atrophy, which contributes to
sagging, so sexy lingerie matter is open to debate. sexy lingerie bra may also be worn
to observe modesty or to present a certain image of femininity. Bras
are typically designed to lift sexy lingerie breasts into a particular
position, for a more youthful look or for enhancing cleavage . These
roles are sometimes conflicting. Some designers aim at producing a
garment that fulfills a practical role as well as making it look
attractive. Bras are also used during pregnancy (when breasts are
enlarged and more sensitive), and for nursing (see nursing bra) to
support and provide access for breastfeeding.
Many have questioned sexy lingerie practical need for sexy lingerie bra. Some women
prefer not to wear a bra and go braless on a regular basis. In many
nations, a bra is often not worn. Some have suggested that a bra
does little to prevent sexy lingerie effects of aging on sexy
lingerie breasts, and some
have claimed that breasts are healthier when left free to move
rather than being restrained. Also, sexy lingerie bra has become charged with
political and cultural meanings that overlay its practical purpose.
Traditionally it is viewed as symbolic of a young girl's coming of
age, one of sexy lingerie tokens that indicate that she has become a young
woman. It can also be interpreted as a feminine icon. On sexy
lingerie other
hand, some may see it as a symbol of sexy lingerie repression of women's
bodies. All of these debates mean that sexy lingerie bra has assumed a
cultural significance which exceeds that which is normally accorded
to item of clothing (e.g. socks, dress shirts, or gloves).
Etymology
The French word brassière refers to a baby's vest (undershirt) or
lifebelt, underbodice or harness. sexy lingerie word brassière derives from
bracière, an Old French word meaning "arm protector" and referring
to military uniforms (bras in French means "arm"). This later became
used for a military breast plate, and later for a type of woman's
corset. sexy lingerie current French term for brassière is soutien-gorge,
literally, "held under sexy lingerie neck" or "throat-support". In French,
gorge (throat) was a common euphemism for sexy lingerie breast. This dates
back to sexy lingerie garment developed by Herminie Cadolle in 1905.
The term "brassiere" seems to have come into use in sexy
lingerie English
language as early as 1893. Manufacturers were using sexy lingerie term by
about 1904, Vogue magazine first used it in 1907, and by 1911 sexy
lingerie word had made its way into sexy lingerie Oxford English Dictionary. On 13
November 1914, sexy lingerie brassiere was patented by Mrs Mary Phelps Jacob
also known as Caresse Crosby. In sexy lingerie 1930s, "brassiere" gradually
came to be shortened to "bra". In sexy lingerie French-speaking Canadian
province of Quebec, both soutien-gorge and brassière are used
interchangeably.
The claim that sexy lingerie brassiere was invented by a man named Otto
Titzling (phonetically tit-sling) who lost a lawsuit with Phillip de
Brassiere (fill up de' brassiere) is an urban legend that originated
with sexy lingerie 1971 book Bust-Up: sexy lingerie Uplifting Tale of Otto Titzling and
sexy lingerie Development of sexy lingerie Bra and was propagated in a song from
sexy lingerie movie Beaches.
History
During recorded history, women have used a variety of garments and
devices to cover, restrain, or elevate their breasts. Brassiere or
bikini-like garments are depicted on some female athletes in sexy
lingerie seventh century BC during sexy lingerie Minoan civilization era. Similar
functionality was achieved by both outerwear and underwear.
From sexy lingerie 16th century onwards, sexy lingerie undergarments of wealthier women
were dominated by sexy lingerie corset, which pushed sexy lingerie breasts upwards. In
sexy lingerie latter part of sexy lingerie 19th century, clothing designers began
experimenting with various alternatives to sexy lingerie corset, trying things
like splitting sexy lingerie corset into multiple parts: a girdle-like
restraining device for sexy lingerie lower torso, and devices that suspended
sexy lingerie breasts from sexy lingerie shoulder for sexy lingerie upper torso.
By sexy lingerie early 20th century, garments more closely resembling
contemporary bras had emerged, although large-scale commercial
production did not occur until sexy lingerie 1930s. Since then, bras have
replaced corsets (although some prefer camisoles), and bra
manufacture and sale has become a multi-billion-dollar industry.
Over time, sexy lingerie emphasis on bras has largely shifted from
functionality to fashion.
In China during sexy lingerie Ming dynasty a form of foundation clothe
complete with cups and straps drawn over shoulders and tied to sexy
lingerie girth seam at sexy lingerie lower back called a dudou was in vogue among
sexy lingerie rich women. (Oriental Clothing and Modern Fetishism, various
authors, ed. Partho Shanner, 1996, Yeti, Hong Kong). While they
first arose in sexy lingerie Ming Dynasty, were also common in sexy
lingerie Qing
Dynasty (1644-1911). In English they are known as 'stomach
protectors' or 'tummy covers'
Construction and fit
A brassiere usually consists of two cups for breasts, a centre
panel, a band running around sexy lingerie torso under sexy lingerie bust, and a
shoulder strap for each side. Brassieres are typically made of a
fabric, such as cotton or polyester. Spandex and lace are also often
used for various parts of sexy lingerie bra. sexy lingerie cups for
sexy lingerie breasts may be
reinforced by underwires made of metal originally, but mainly
plastic now. sexy lingerie bra is usually fastened with a hook fastener on
sexy lingerie band, typically at sexy lingerie back. In some bras
sexy lingerie fastener is in sexy lingerie front, between sexy
lingerie cups. Others are pulled on over sexy lingerie head and have
no fasteners at all.
Some bras contain padding, designed either to increase comfort, to
conceal sexy lingerie nipples, or to make sexy lingerie breasts appear larger. Breast
pads, commonly known as "falsies" or "cutlets", are sometimes worn
between sexy lingerie breasts and sexy lingerie bra to create sexy
lingerie illusion of a larger
cup size. Push-up bras in particular are designed to enhance sexy
lingerie cleavage and use padding and sexy lingerie cut of sexy
lingerie pattern to achieve this
effect.
Fitting
The backstrap (band) and cups should provide most of sexy lingerie support,
rather than sexy lingerie shoulder straps, which are responsible for a number
of health problems (see Mechanical principles, below).
When viewed from sexy lingerie side, sexy lingerie strap that runs around
sexy lingerie body
should be horizontal, should not ride up sexy lingerie back, and should be
firm but comfortable.
The underwires at sexy lingerie front should lie flat against sexy
lingerie rib cage
(not sexy lingerie breast), along sexy lingerie infra-mammary fold, and should not dig
in to sexy lingerie chest or sexy lingerie breasts, rub or poke out at
sexy lingerie front.
The breasts should be enclosed by sexy lingerie cups and there should be a
smooth line where sexy lingerie fabric at sexy lingerie top of sexy
lingerie cup ends.
There should not be a ridge or any bulging over sexy lingerie top or sides of
sexy lingerie cups, even with a low-cut style such as sexy lingerie balconette bra.
Mechanical principles
A pair of breasts can weigh several kilograms. For instance a pair
of "D cup" breasts may weigh 15–23 pounds (7–10 kg), dependent on
band and cup size. One of sexy lingerie principal functions of a bra is to
elevate and "support" sexy lingerie breasts, that is, to raise them from their
normal position lying against sexy lingerie chest wall. sexy
lingerie bra's shoulder
strap should bear little weight. This is considered sexy lingerie defining
characteristic of sexy lingerie bra: supporting sexy lingerie weight from
sexy lingerie back and
shoulders, as opposed to lift from below (as corsets do).
Over-reliance on sexy lingerie platform (backstrap) for support will lead to
undue compression of sexy lingerie breasts, so much of sexy lingerie weight tends to be
carried by sexy lingerie shoulder strap, particularly for larger breasts.
sexy lingerie major engineering weakness of sexy lingerie bra is that it acts as a pulley,
transferring sexy lingerie weight of sexy lingerie breasts from sexy
lingerie lower chest wall to
higher structures such as sexy lingerie back, shoulder, neck, and head. This
can result in pain and injury in those structures, especially for
women with pendulous breasts.
Size and measurement
The comfort and function of any given bra is highly dependent on
sexy lingerie correct size and fit. A large range of sizes are available to cater
to sexy lingerie wide variety in sexy lingerie size of women's breasts and bodies. Bra
sizes typically vary in two ways: sexy lingerie volume of sexy
lingerie cups that fit
over sexy lingerie breast, and sexy lingerie length of sexy lingerie back strap that goes around
sexy lingerie body. It is essential that sexy lingerie bra fit correctly in both of
these dimensions. There is typically some ability to adjust sexy
lingerie band
size, since bras usually have three or four alternative sets of
fastening hooks. sexy lingerie shoulder straps of a bra are also almost always
adjustable. sexy lingerie size of women's breasts is often expressed in terms
of her usual bra size.
Measurement systems
Although all bras are labeled by size, many women find that sexy
lingerie only
way to obtain a bra that fits properly and achieves sexy lingerie effect they
want is by trial and error with each bra type, model and brand. This
method is sexy lingerie most reliable.
Though many countries use sexy lingerie metric system, sexy lingerie majority of nations
still use imperial units to determine sexy lingerie underband size of
sexy lingerie bra
itself.
There are several methods which may be used to provide an
approximate size by taking measurements. However, bra sizing systems
differ widely between countries, between manufacturers, and between
brands and designs, which can create many problems. Many researchers
have demonstrated that these problems arise because fit requires
knowing sexy lingerie breast volume, not sexy lingerie body circumference (the distance
around sexy lingerie body), which is what is actually measured. Although bra
sizing uses sexy lingerie circumference to estimate sexy lingerie volume, this has been
shown to be highly unreliable.
The size of a bra is commonly described by two values. sexy lingerie first is
sexy lingerie band size (underband), a number based on sexy lingerie circumference of
sexy lingerie chest under sexy lingerie bust, excluding sexy
lingerie breasts. sexy lingerie second is sexy lingerie cup size given by a letter of
sexy lingerie alphabet, and relating to sexy lingerie volume of sexy
lingerie breasts themselves. For example, a 30D bra is for a
30-size band and a D-size cup. Cup sizes typically start with A,
sexy lingerie smallest, and increase alphabetically. A double lettering system may
also be used, e.g. DDD for F or AA for a size smaller than A.
Band size is usually determined by measuring body circumference
under sexy lingerie breasts as tight as possible. A second measurement is a
loose fit taken of sexy lingerie chest circumference over sexy
lingerie fullest part of sexy lingerie breasts (overbust). sexy
lingerie cup size can then be calculated with
tables or a conversion tool from sexy lingerie difference between these two
measurements.
The mean underband circumference in sexy lingerie UK is 34 inches (86 cm). For
sexy lingerie overbust measurement, this is 40 inches (101 cm), for women
18–64 years.
Fitting difficulties
Women often find it difficult to find sexy lingerie correct bra size. To
achieve perfect sizing consistently, a bra would have to be custom
made, because a "one-size-fits-all" manufacturing process is fraught
with difficulties. Breasts vary in sexy lingerie position on sexy
lingerie chest, and in
their diameters.
A number of stores have certified professional bra-fitters
specialists. However, even bra fitters have been shown to be quite
variable in their recommendations. Buying "off-the-shelf" or
"online" bras is unwise if sexy lingerie buyer has never tried on
sexy lingerie brand
and type of bra that they are interested in buying. Some bra
manufacturers and distributors state that trying on and learning to
recognize a proper fit is sexy lingerie best way to determine a correct bra
size, much sexy lingerie same as with shoes. Some critics observe that
measuring systems such as sexy lingerie one described above often lead to an
incorrect size, most commonly too small in sexy lingerie cup, and too large in
sexy lingerie band. For anyone, especially cup sizes larger than a D, one
should get a professional fitting from sexy lingerie lingerie department of a
clothing store or a specialty lingerie store.
Some women intentionally buy larger cups and pad them, while yet
others buy smaller cups to give sexy lingerie appearance of being "full".
Finally, sexy lingerie elastic properties of sexy lingerie band make band size highly
unreliable, and in one study sexy lingerie label size was consistently
different from sexy lingerie measured size. Fashion and image drive
sexy lingerie bra
market, and these factors often take precedence over comfort and
function.
As already noted, there is no agreed standard across all
manufacturers for measuring and specifying bra size. Obtaining sexy
lingerie correct size is further complicated by sexy lingerie fact that
sexy lingerie size and
shape of a woman's breasts fluctuate during her menstrual cycle, and
also with weight gain or loss. Even breathing can substantially
alter sexy lingerie measurements.
It is frequently stated, from sexy lingerie results of surveys, that between
70 and 100% of women are wearing incorrectly fitted bras. This may
be partly due to a lack of understanding of how to correctly
determine bra size; it may also be due to unusual or unexpectedly
rapid growth in size brought on by pregnancy, weight gain, or
medical conditions including virginal breast hypertrophy.
As breasts become larger, their shape and sexy lingerie distribution of
sexy lingerie tissues within them changes, becoming ptotic and bulbous rather than
conical. This makes measurements increasingly unreliable, especially
for large breasts. Similarly sexy lingerie heavier a build sexy
lingerie woman has, sexy lingerie more inaccurate sexy lingerie underbust measurement as
sexy lingerie tape sinks into sexy lingerie flesh more easily. Finally, most women are asymmetrical (10%
severely), with sexy lingerie left breast being larger in 62%, especially when
sexy lingerie breasts are large.
Many of sexy lingerie health problems associated with bras are due to fitting
problems and are discussed further below, under health problems.
However, finding a comfortable fit is described as very difficult by
many women, which has affected sales. Medical studies have also
attested to sexy lingerie difficulty of getting a correct fit.
Types of bra
A wide range of styles of brassieres now exists, to be worn in a
variety of situations, and with a variety of outer garments. For
instance strapless, backless and multiway bra styles specialise in
being invisible underneath less than full coverage garments whereas
push up and plunge focus on shaping sexy lingerie bust and cleavage.
sexy lingerie degree of shaping and coverage of sexy lingerie breasts varies between styles,
as do functionality and fashion, fabric, and colour. Styles range
from sexy lingerie purely utilitarian to sexy lingerie sensual. Others include various
accessory structures such as padding and underwiring.
Many bras will fall into more than one category, such as a maternity
bra designed for facilitating access to sexy lingerie nipple, but that is also
designed to provide support to heavier lactating breasts.
Definitions are not always very accurate or exclusive (e.g. shelf
bra). Sports bras have more recently been developed with sexy
lingerie primary
purpose of restricting breast movement to aid comfort.
Therapeutic role of sexy lingerie bra
Countering sexy lingerie aging process
Anatomically, sexy lingerie breasts are non-rigid areas of glandular tissue,
with few support structures, such as connective tissue. Breasts are
composed of sexy lingerie mammary glands, which remain relatively constant
throughout life, as well as sexy lingerie adipose tissue or fat tissue that
surrounds sexy lingerie mammary glands. It is sexy lingerie amount and distribution of
adipose tissue that leads to variations in breast size. In addition,
sexy lingerie breasts contain internal ligaments, although their exact
function as related to breast support is controversial. These
ligaments, and sexy lingerie overlying skin (referred to as sexy
lingerie dermal
brassiere) help determine sexy lingerie resulting breast shape.
As sexy lingerie breasts mature, they fold over sexy lingerie lower attachment to
sexy lingerie chest wall (infra-mammary fold), and their lower (inferior) surface
lies against sexy lingerie chest wall when vertical. In popular culture, this
maturation is referred to as "sagging" or "drooping", although
plastic surgeons refer to it as ptosis, and recommend mastopexy
(breast lift) for correction.
Although sexy lingerie exact mechanisms that determine breast shape and size
remain largely unknown, it has long been claimed that this occurs
because sexy lingerie normal anatomical support is inadequate, especially in
older women and those with larger breasts. Hence sexy lingerie bra is often
proposed as a means of providing artificial support, based on sexy
lingerie presumption that sexy lingerie breasts cannot support themselves. Health
professionals have, however, found no evidence to suggest that sexy
lingerie bra changes sexy lingerie natural process of aging of sexy
lingerie breasts. Bra
manufacturers have also stated that bras only affect sexy lingerie shape of
breasts while they are being worn.
Indeed, there are indications that wearing a bra may have an effect
opposite to that which was intended. In a Japanese study, 11 women
were measured wearing a standardised fitted bra for three months.
They found that breasts became larger and lower, with sexy lingerie
in hot thong
measurement decreasing and sexy lingerie overbust increasing, while
sexy lingerie lowest
point of sexy lingerie breast moved downwards and outwards. sexy
lingerie effect was
more pronounced in larger-breasted women. This may be related to
sexy lingerie particular bra chosen for sexy lingerie experiment. There was some improvement
after changing to a different model. These findings were confirmed
in a much larger French study of 250 women who exercised regularly
and were followed by questionnaires and biometric measurements for a
year after agreeing not to wear a bra. While there was some initial
discomfort at sexy lingerie first evaluation, this gradually disappeared and
by sexy lingerie end of sexy lingerie year nearly all sexy lingerie women had improved comfort
compared to before sexy lingerie study. sexy lingerie measurements showed firmer, and
more elevated and youthful breasts. One example of a woman who had
breasts that were uncomfortably large, and who had improvement after
two years of being without a bra is given.
While some may dispute sexy lingerie reasons why breasts change in shape with
age and argue over whether or not sexy lingerie process can be delayed or
reversed by wearing a bra, it is a natural process of bodily change.
Health ethicists are concerned that plastic surgery and implants
have altered our concept of what is "normal" and medicalised women's
bodies by making a normal process a "disease.
Pain relief and comfort
Wearing a bra can offer relief of breast and hot costume
relationship,
particularly when women are performing strenuous physical activity
or exercise. Indeed, sexy lingerie sports bra is an example of a bra which has
been specifically designed for this purpose. An underwire bra and hot thong can
also help support breasts and keep them from bouncing (for example,
during running), which is painful whether sexy lingerie breasts are large or
small. Recently sexy lingerie requirement for a bra during exercise at all has
been questioned following extensive studies on athletes and
sportswomen.
In sexy lingerie specific case of larger breasts, sexy lingerie bra lifts
sexy lingerie breasts
away from sexy lingerie chest and can prevent two skin surfaces from rubbing
together. Without sexy lingerie bra, maceration (loss of skin), intertrigo
(rash) and fungal infections are possible. This does, however,
depend upon a correctly fitted bra that performs as intended.
Cultural significance
Feminist comment
Many feminist writers have interpreted sexy lingerie bra as an example of how
women's clothing has shaped and even deformed women's bodies to
historically aesthetic ideals, or shaped them to conform to male
expectations of what is desirable. Germaine Greer, for example, has
often depicted bras as symbols of oppression, and it was views like
these, considered radical by some, which perhaps gave rise to sexy
lingerie urban legend of bra-burning ceremonies.
Many of sexy lingerie statements about sexy lingerie and hot underwear benefits of bras are actually
situations where they can make things worse, because sexy lingerie vast
majority of women wear bras that are ill-fitting. For instance,
rather than keeping sexy lingerie breasts away from sexy lingerie chest wall, bras that
are too tight can actually compress them against sexy lingerie chest even
further. This also pulls sexy lingerie upper thoracic and cervical vertebrae
(spine) forward and down, interfering with back, shoulder and chest
movement.
As they did with corsets, health professionals have also had
concerns about sexy lingerie constricting effects of brassieres, although this
varies considerably with design and sexy lingerie relative size of
sexy lingerie bra and sexy lingerie breast. While at least sports bras do not usually cause any
significant impairment in respiration, some bras may put pressure on
nerves. Others believe that wearing a bra can actually increase sexy
lingerie downward movement of sexy lingerie breasts with age, because
sexy lingerie chest muscles
(pectoralis) that support breasts are used less and atrophy from
lack of use.
Myalgia
Use of a properly fitting bra is regularly recommended for reduction
of mastalgia (breast pain) from exercise or other activities which
cause sexy lingerie breasts to bounce, or for pain related to fibrocystic
breast disease. A trial comparing sexy lingerie effectiveness of danazole
versus use of a sports bra for treatment of mastalgia found sexy
lingerie sports bra to be much more effective, and avoided sexy
lingerie side effects
experienced by 42% of those taking danazole. Sports bras were also
found most effective at reducing mastalgia caused by exercise.
When sexy lingerie shoulder straps transfer most of sexy lingerie weight of
sexy lingerie breast,
a deep groove can be seen over sexy lingerie shoulder. Use of thin straps,
such as spaghetti straps, can exert pressure on sexy lingerie trapezius
muscle, resulting in temporary symptoms such as neck and shoulder
pain; numbness and tingling in sexy lingerie arm; and headaches.
This seems more common in women whose activities require them to
lift their arms above sexy lingerie shoulders. In a study of 100 women with
painful shoulders, they were asked to not wear their bras for two
weeks, by which time their symptoms had improved but returned within
an hour of replacing sexy lingerie bra. 84% did not elevate their arms, and in
these symptom relief was complete. Three years later, 79% of sexy
lingerie women were still bra free; sexy lingerie remainder preferred pain to not
wearing a bra. 16% worked in occupations requiring elevating their
arms, and only achieved partial improvement. 13 of sexy lingerie 16 decided to
become bra-free, and by six months all were cured.
Back pain is particularly common among large-breasted women who wear
bras offering insufficient support. In extreme cases, such
discomfort can lead to a woman seeking breast reduction surgery. In
a study of 103 women seeking breast-reduction surgery (reduction
mammaplasty) for pain, one woman never wore a bra, but of sexy
lingerie remaining 102 all were wearing an incorrect bra size. sexy
lingerie underband
was too tight and sexy lingerie cup size too large. sexy lingerie larger
sexy lingerie woman, sexy lingerie worse sexy lingerie fit. sexy
lingerie result was a bra that compresses sexy lingerie breast and
distorts it by compressing sexy lingerie breast against sexy
lingerie skin of sexy lingerie chest
wall.
Based on their research, many physicians believe that bra size is
meaningless, when breast volumes are calculated accurately. "The
current popular system of determining bra size is inaccurate so
often as to be useless. Add to this sexy lingerie many different styles of
bras and sexy lingerie lack of standardization between brands, and one can see
why finding a comfortable, well-fitting bra is more a matter of
educated guesswork, trial, and error than of precise measurements."

Bridal Underwear
The French word brassière refers to a baby's vest (undershirt) or

reinforced by underwires made of metal originally, but mainly
plastic now. the adult costume bra (bridal
underwear) is usually fastened with a hook fastener on the adult
costume band, typically at the adult costume back. In some bras the
adult costume fastener is in the adult costume front, between the
adult costume cups. Others are pulled on over the adult costume head
and have no fasteners at all. Some bras contain padding, designed
either to increase comfort, to conceal the adult costume nipples, or
to make the adult costume breasts appear larger. Breast pads,
commonly known as "falsies" or "cutlets", are sometimes worn between
the adult costume breasts and the adult costume bra to create the
adult costume illusion of a larger cup size. Push-up bras in
particular are designed to enhance the adult costume cleavage and
use padding and the adult costume cut of the adult costume pattern
to achieve this effect.

Bridal Thong
The backstrap (band) and cups should provide most of the adult
costume support, rather than the adult costume shoulder straps,
which are responsible for a number of health problems (see
Mechanical principles, below). When viewed from the adult costume
side, the adult costume strap that runs around the adult costume
body should be horizontal, should not ride up the adult costume
back, and should be firm but comfortable. the adult costume
underwires at the adult costume front should lie flat against the
adult costume rib cage (not the adult costume breast), along the
adult costume infra-mammary fold, and should not dig in to the adult
costume chest or the adult costume breasts, rub or poke out at the
adult costume front. the adult costume breasts should be enclosed by
the adult costume cups and there should be a smooth line where the
adult costume fabric at the adult costume top of the adult costume
cup ends. There should not be a ridge or any bulging over the adult
costume top or sides of the adult costume cups, even with a low-cut
style such as the adult costume balconette bra.
Over-reliance on the adult costume
bridal
thong platform (backstrap) for support will lead to undue
compression of the adult costume breasts, so much of the adult
costume weight tends to be carried by the adult costume shoulder
strap, particularly for larger breasts. the adult costume major
engineering weakness of the adult costume bra is that it acts as a
pulley, transferring the adult costume weight of the adult costume
breasts from the adult costume lower chest wall to higher structures
such as the adult costume back, shoulder, neck, and head. This can
result in pain and injury in those structures, especially for women
with pendulous breasts.
Size and measurement
The comfort and function of any given bra is highly dependent on the
adult costume correct size and fit. A large range of sizes are
available to cater to the adult costume wide variety in the adult
costume size of women's breasts and bodies. Bra sizes typically vary
in two ways: the adult costume volume of the adult costume cups that
fit over the adult costume breast, and the adult costume length of
the adult costume back strap that goes around the adult costume
body. It is essential that the adult costume bra fit correctly in
both of these dimensions. There is typically
bridal thong
and some ability to adjust the adult costume band size, since bras
usually have three or four alternative sets of fastening hooks. the
adult costume shoulder straps of a bra are also almost always
adjustable. the adult costume size of women's breasts is often
expressed in terms of her usual bra size.

Bridal Costume
The size of a bra is commonly described by two values. the adult
costume first is the adult costume band size (bridal
costume), a number based on the adult costume circumference of
the adult costume chest under the adult costume bust, excluding the
adult costume breasts. the adult costume second is the adult costume
cup size given by a letter of the adult costume alphabet, and
relating to the adult costume volume of the adult costume breasts
themselves. For example, a 30D bra is for a 30-size band and a
D-size cup. Cup sizes typically start with A, the adult costume
smallest, and increase alphabetically. Band size is usually
determined by measuring body circumference under the adult costume
breasts as tight as possible. A second measurement is a loose fit
taken of the adult costume chest circumference over the adult
costume fullest part of the adult costume breasts (overbust). the
adult costume cup size can then be calculated with tables or a
conversion tool from the adult costume difference between these two
measurements. Women often find it difficult to find the adult
costume correct bra size. To achieve perfect sizing consistently, a
bra would have to be custom made, because a "one-size-fits-all"
manufacturing process is fraught with
bridal costume.
Breasts vary in the adult costume position on the adult costume
chest, and in their diameters.
A number of stores have certified professional bra-fitters
specialists. However, even bra fitters have been shown to be quite
variable in their recommendations. Buying "off-the-shelf" or
"online" bras is unwise if the adult costume buyer has never tried
on the adult costume brand and type of bra that they are interested
in buying. Some bra manufacturers and distributors state that trying
on and learning to recognize a proper fit is the adult costume best
way to determine a correct bra size, much the adult costume same as
with shoes. Some critics observe that measuring systems such as the
adult costume one described above often lead to an incorrect size,
most commonly too small in the adult costume cup, and too large in
the adult costume band. For anyone, especially cup sizes larger than
a D, one should get a professional fitting from the adult costume
lingerie department of a clothing store or a specialty lingerie
store. Some women intentionally buy larger cups and pad them, while
yet others buy smaller cups to give the adult costume appearance of
being "full". Finally, the adult costume elastic properties of the
adult costume band make band size highly unreliable, and in one
study the adult costume label size was consistently different from
the adult costume measured size. Fashion and image drive the adult
costume bra market, and these factors often take precedence over
comfort and function.
